FIELDS AWNING

We designed and built this awning for a client who wanted to screen his print shop and art gallery from the intense west setting sun and to have a distinctive quality to stand apart from the other commercially available awnings that line Massachusetts Street in downtown Lawrence. Composed of repetitive, slightly overlapping sections of fabric and steel the frames had to be detached from the structure in order to maintain the historic integrity of the old building.
