HEARTLAND COMMUNITY CHURCH

Heartland Community Church is a non-denominational, bible-believing organization located in downtown Lawrence KS in an old 1950's commercial building that the church bought and remodeled around eight years ago. This location, at 619 Vermont St, currently houses the 150-plus congregation and a myriad of ministries serving the immediate area. A desire to reach out further in the community and to extend their ministry to a broader audience is to begin with the remodeling of their facility. This is to include an improved area for large gatherings and to support greater interaction between members in the rest of the facility. A public coffee bar immediately off the street is part of the program.
