MONARCH WATCH (UNBUILT)

Monarch Watch is a nonprofit education, conservation, and research program based at the University of Kansas that focuses on the monarch butterfly, its habitat, and its fall migration. They strive to provide the public with information about the biology of the monarch and how to use this information to further science education in primary and secondary schools. They also promote protection of monarch habitats throughout North America and promote the installation of Monarch waystations (gardens with the plants Monarchs require during their migration). We were asked to formulate a proposal for a new facility that would be built on the University of Kansas campus. The plans and images were created to assist in fund raising and the efforts to stoke interest in creating a worthy home for the program.
